December 29th - Theme Park News In A Nutshell

 Here is this week's Theme Park News:


- Universal Orlando has filed permits for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit to be removed, and replaced with a proposed new attraction. They have stated the existing ride will close in September 2025.

- Disneyland have opened a new Haunted Mansion themed gift show, Madame Leota's Somewhere Beyond.

- Kentucky Kingdom will be getting a new 11 Million dollar family-themed land in May, as part of a two year enhancement initiative.

- Six Flags has submitted plans this week to "ALTER" rather than "Demolish" their "KINGDA KA/ ZUMANJARO" rides, which have been announced as being removed. This suggests that they might maintain some of the tower structure for the rides.

- Formula Rossa has re-opened, at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, after being closed for nearly 12 months for refurbishment.
