November 17th - Theme Park News in a Nutshell

 This week's Theme Park News:

- Donkey Kong Country at Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Japan will officially open on December 11th, it was announced this week.

- Six Flags Great Adventure confirmed that it has closed Kingda Ka for good. Kingda Ka had been the world's tallest roller coaster.

- Disneyland has opened it's version of Tiana's Bayou Adventure this week.

- Disneyland Resort kicked off it's Festival of the Holidays at Disney California Adventure.

- The Walt Disney Company  reported a 4% rise in annual operating income for its Experiences segment, to $9.272 billion, although it was down for the final quarter of the year down 6%, which was driven by a 5% drop in revenue at the international parks.

- Disneyland Paris' upcoming drone show has an opening date and name. It will be called Disney Tales of Magic and it will open on January 10th next year.

- The names of two of the upcoming restaurants for Disneyland Resorts Downtown Disney have been announced, with table service restaurant Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon and quick service Pearl's Roadside BBQ.
