• Universal Orlando have soft opened the Illumination Villain-Con Minion Blast this weekend.
• Universal Hollywood have announced that Toad is joining the meetable characters at their version of Super Nintendo World this weekend.
• Meanwhile in Japan Bowser jr has started appearing on stage Super Mario Power Up Summer event, a special show for Super Nintendo World.
• Universal Studios Hollywood has confirmed it is building a Fast & Furious roller coaster, which they have submitted permits for and that will start construction soon.
• Legoland Florida announced that the "final flight" for its Flying School roller coaster will take off on August 16.
• Netflix show “Stranger Things" is coming back to Halloween Horror Nights in both Florida and Hollywood.
• Disneyland resort has announced that San Fransokyo Square which takes over the former Pacific Wharf in Disney California Adventure, will open August 31st.
